Abstract Submissions

When do abstract submissions open and close?

Abstract submissions for the 2026 Summit will be accepted from 1 April, 2026 until 1 July, 2026.

Will there be a “late-breaking” abstract submission window?

Information regarding any late-breaking abstract submission opportunities will be shared if applicable.

Can I edit my abstract after submission?

Authors may return to the submission site to make changes to an abstract submission at any time before the deadline.

Can I withdraw my abstract?

Submissions may be deleted at any time up to the deadline if the abstract is no longer intended for consideration.

What presentation formats are available?

All abstracts submitted on or before the deadline will be reviewed by the Program Committee for oral and/or poster presentation.

When will I be notified of my abstract status?

Notification timelines will be shared following completion of the review process.

Are there formatting requirements for abstracts?

Formatting instructions will be available within the submission guidelines and submission portal.


Registration

When will registration open?

Registration for Lysosomal Disease Summit 2026 will open 1 April, 2026.

Are discounted registration rates available?

Information on any discounted rates or special registration categories will be shared with registration details.

Are group registration discounts available?

Many attendees participate in the Summit alongside colleagues to align on emerging science, treatment approaches, and patient care strategies.

Group registration discounts may be available for groups of 3 or more participants. Attendees are encouraged to contact the Summit team prior to registering to coordinate their group and confirm eligibility.

Can I receive a group discount after I have already registered individually?

No. Group registration discounts cannot be applied after an individual registration has been completed.

What is the Lysosomal Disease Summit?

The Lysosomal Disease Summit is a scientific meeting focused on research, clinical care, and emerging developments in lysosomal diseases. The 2026 Summit will be held in Melbourne, Australia.

Who should attend the Summit?

The Summit is designed for clinicians, researchers, and professionals working in lysosomal diseases and related fields, including those involved in clinical care, research, and therapeutic development. Patient advocacy group representatives may also attend.

Does the Lysosomal Disease Summit offer travel scholarships or travel assistance?

The Lysosomal Disease Summit is unable to provide travel assistance for attendees or faculty. However, ten (10) scholarships are available for complimentary Summit registration for abstract presenters. All presenters of abstracts selected for oral presentation will receive a discounted Faculty Rate for registration to the Lysosomal Disease Summit.

Do I need to present an oral or poster abstract to receive travel support?

Yes. Registration scholarships are tied to participation in the scientific programme and an accepted abstract.

When will I know if I have been awarded travel support?

Registration scholarship recipients will be notified on or around 15 July, 2026.
